La Plantation d'Albion Club Med Mauritius

We spent a week at Plantation d'Albion as part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely incredible. We've been to several Club Med resorts before and we were pretty confident Palmiye will always be our favourite but now we're not so sure! The food is exceptional - local specialities, lots of stations where they cook to order and unlike some resorts, dessert was as good as the main courses. The staff are really friendly, knowledgeable and attentive (special thank you to Olivier on the bar team and Nelson in Fitness - my shoulders are still aching!) and they take the time to get to know you. The rooms are huge and have everything you need and more. The standout for us was the circus. The team are brilliant... Sven, Joséphine, Ami and Opik - you really made our week an unforgettable one and we can't thank you enough! We learned so many new tricks and loved being taught by you all. We can only apologise for Kieren’s stubbornly un-pointed toes and my inability to force out, but there are some things that can't be resolved in a week! All in all we had an amazing week and we're already suffering Club Med withdrawal, so we hope to be back at some point! Thank you Club Med :)

Wonderful resort, beautiful facilities the zen pool was a favourite. Attentive staff, especially Michael and Sophie who made extra special time for our group.

An amazing experience, we came for the first time 17 years ago and could share our love for the resort with our four year old daughter on this trip. She had an incredible time with the awesome GO and service team with special mention to Michael and Sophie who made her feel like the princess/mermaid she is!
